The Maquette collection was developed through intuitive play with material elements to create compositions in the same way an initial sketch would be developed. In contrast to the architectural assemblage pieces, this series began with no preconceived idea of how the final artwork would take shape. Wooden shapes were instinctively re-imagined into new structures and forms to create the maquettes.
