ARTIST & DESIGNER

Emily Forgot is a UK-based artist and designer whose multidisciplinary practice encompasses collaborations for a diverse range of international clients including the V&A, Somerset House, Selfridges and Herman Miller.

Emily's first solo show, 'Neverland', took place during London Design Festival 2016, paving the way for the creation of her celebrated wooden architectural 'Assemblages' as well as sparking her interest in creating domestic objects.

Alongside working on custom installations and art collaborations with global brands, Emily has also been commissioned by private collectors, interior designers, stylists and architects to create  bespoke pieces for a variety of residential and hospitality projects.

More recently, Emily has added interior projects to her multidisciplinary portfolio. Channelling her longstanding interest in colour, material, and the built environment, this latest evolution of her practice allows Emily to translate her visual language from the page to lived spaces, reflecting her playful sensibility, confident use of colour, and the rigorous engagement with design history that underpins her work.

In parallel with commissions, Emily's insatiable curiosity for all things interiors finds its home on her curated newsletter, Soft Fascination .With a focus on three-dimensional objects and spaces both past and present, she aims to celebrate and share the sources of inspiration behind her own creative design practice.
