HAPPENSTANCE is a body of work whose aim is to place the process of making at its core; exploring the serendipity of creation, the happy accidents and the playfulness involved in bringing ideas to life. The result is a collection of original maquettes, collages and textiles embodying Emily’s bold and graphic visual language while simultaneously celebrating the tactility and beauty found in the imperfections of the handmade.
